Eligibility window
- Returns or exchanges accepted within 7 days of delivery/purchase.
- Request must be initiated within the window and shipped back within 3 days of approval.
Condition of items
- Item must be unused, unworn, and undamaged, with all original tags, certificates, and packaging.
- Include any hallmark/assay cards, gemstone certificates, and invoice.
Non-returnable items
- Custom, engraved, resized, or bespoke jewellery.
- Earrings (for hygiene reasons), nose pins, and body jewellery.
- Items marked “Final Sale” or purchased during clearance events.
- Products showing signs of wear, damage, or alteration by third parties.
Refunds
- Approved returns are refunded to the original payment method within 5–10 business days after inspection.
- Shipping, gift wrap, and COD fees are non-refundable.
- If a gift card/store credit was used, the refund will be issued as store credit.
Exchanges
Like-for-like exchanges are subject to stock availability. For price differences, we’ll charge/refund the delta accordingly.
Return shipping
- Damaged/incorrect items: We cover return shipping. Contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos.
- Change of mind: Customer pays return shipping. Use insured, trackable courier and share the tracking ID.
How to start a return
- Email support@poorthikajewellers.com with your order/invoice number and reason.
- Wait for a Return Authorization (RMA) and packing instructions.
- Pack securely with all accessories/certificates and ship as instructed. Keep your receipt and tracking.
Inspection & approval
All returns pass a quality check (video recorded) upon arrival. If the item fails inspection, it will be shipped back to you and no refund will be issued.
Warranty & repairs
Manufacturing defects reported within 6 months are repaired at no labour cost; material costs may apply. Wear-and-tear or accidental damage is not covered. FAQ – Returns & Refunds
Q: Can I return a gift?
A: Yes, we can issue store credit to the original purchaser or to you if permitted.
Q: I received the wrong size. What now?
A: Contact us for an exchange or resizing options (fees may apply on certain designs).
Q: How long do refunds take?
A: 5–10 business days after we complete inspection and approve the return.
